Musings on a lazy Thursday afternoon

Today is like one of the randomest days ever...


> It's payday, which means it's debt-paying day again. Paid for my sister's tuition, boarding house, credit card bills, etc...it's only payday afternoon but I'm already almost broke.

> Went to Emall to pay my bills...then detoured to Booksale (oh oh!). And as predicted, I got hold of an interesting book (again!), which is She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. It has nice reviews and was featured in Oprah's Book Club. Though I still don't have time to read this anytime soon but this would be a good summer read.

>I had lunch at Chowking not because I'm a fan of their food but because everywhere else is full. I tried their buko pandan for dessert and I was quite disappointed. I was practically digging the stuff looking for the buko. It wasn't until my nth scoop did I find what seemed to be buko, which was actually macapuno. Coming from an agricultural environment, I can quite tell the difference between buko and macapuno all right. I'm not really a big fan of macapuno unless it's ice cream or a bread filling; it has a distinct not so likeable "smell".


> I went to BPI Emall branch after paying my bills to enroll my credit card and the guy (customer) pointed out to me that we have the same wallet. And indeed. But not exactly coz seeing that he's Chinese-looking, I bet his wallet has more money than mine. Ok, I'm being stereotypical there.


> Went to Cebu Central Post Office to get my parcel which contains my laptop sleeve, cute fish-looking mouse, and keychain flashlight. I was so excited that I opened it on my way back to school. I wasn't disappointed at all. My laptop sleeve fitted perfectly, the mouse and keychain are both too cute, all at reasonable prices and free shipping.

> I showed off my cute fishy mouse to everyone and they all agreed that it's so cute (except for one).

> I didn't have my usual afternoon snacks today because I wasn't hungry. LOL. I must be sick.
