Sister Mulan and I do this as regularly as possible (usually weekends) especially now that we're no
t in the same workplace anymore. Last night was another one of those. It's always nice to have a friend you can just stroll and eat and have coffee and chickachika with without worrying yourself of having to look good or to watch what y0u talk about. Bonding with Mulan is always a relaxing adventure (adventure on my pocket because we always start with her looking for something to buy but end up with me buying something I most likely don't urgently need). And these bonding sessions usually involve a lot of window shopping, food, and caffeine. We usually meet to shop together but before we even start to go around, we usually realize that we're too hungry so we look for a place to fill our tummys first. And I don't know why but our hungers seem to be bigger than we conceived them to be coz we end up eating a lot. And I mean A LOT! Then in order to digest the food faster we walk around the mall, which,
as I have mentioned, always end up with me buying stuffs that aren't really needed at the moment. Then when our feet get tired or strolling around, we go for coffee usually at Starbucks (but we also try other coffee places). She always order iced (frap) with lots of cream, while I always have hot and without cream. And so we chicka and the chicka goes on even long after we have consumed all of our coffees. We always talk about what's going on in each of our lives. Only by the time the mall is closing that we decide to go our separate ways and have some rest and look forward to another bonding weekend.
