of scrapbooks and memories

That I've been scapbooking lately is an understatement. I've been ADDICTED to scrapbooking lately is more like it. I had no idea I'd get into this form of "art" (my right brain is underdeveloped). I surprised myself that I'm actually enjoying this new hobby and I can't stop. I've brought all the materials I can get hold of, cut papers, dug my photo albums, pasted like crazy, and before I know it it's already past midnight. It actually takes a long time to do one page because you have to choose a background, page theme, papers and embelishments to use, contruct a layout, pick the photos, when you look over the photos fond memories come back to you and you reminisce (this is the longest part), then put them all together and paste and draw and write like crazy, then do some finishing touches, and finally, you smile and give a big sigh for a work of "art" well done. I actually started a scrapbook to share my stories to anyone who'd care enough to want to know and because I really can't let go of fond memories. There is no actual theme of the whole thing, the pages are mostly random, which is great coz having to abide by a theme would be stressful.

Actually, the purpose of this post is to brag about my works. Hehe. I know they are not THAT artsy, but I'm proud of myself. Enjoy!
