Conquering my fear

I think I finally conquered one of my biggest fears last night---cockroaches! I have killed two of these filthy rodents near the bathroom. They used to terrify me even the dead ones (or maybe they still do). I saw the two fly out from somewhere to the floor by the sink where I was washing my uniform. I thought about how gross they are and that they shouldn't be flying or running around the house, so I gathered all the courage I can and tried my very best not to get terrified. I got hold of my slipper and bam! This is definitely one of my greatest moments.
