more work (not complaining)

This morning Dr. Maravillas gave me an assignment. He wants to find a good algorithm for edge detection and also pattern matching for one of his researches in image processing. Looks like I'm gonna be "co-authoring" a research paper. It's in quotes coz I'm not sure if I'm gonna be of much help to deserve to be a co-author. Besides, it's his research problem, I'm just gonna help. With the college's upcoming accreditation, we need more people to get involved in research. I really meant to do research this semester. I've already thought of a research problem. BUT everything is just hectic and I couldn't squeeze it in. Before I'd be able to find algorithms for edge detection and pattern matching, I need to find an algorithm to get done with the midterm papers first. *sigh*
