on a new path soon

(I don't know why but this entry has been sitting on my drafts folder for so long and might as well publish it for all the efforts exerted in the writing...so this entry is really fresh..oh well..)


Because I've got nothing productive to do today...and I feel so random...

It is excruciatingly hot outside, but good thing the AC at the office works well at daytime (not at night time though) and looking out the window makes me dream of going to the beach...Haaay! That would be heaven on earth!

So today marks my last week at NCR. Yes, if you haven't heard before, I'm leaving this company. Why? Because I'm taking advantage of the rise of my course---Statistics! Statistics has gained much attention with big data, numerical analysis, etc. as of late. It has been 'undervalued' in this country for as long as I can remember. However, we all have our moments and now is our time to shine. Being a statistician is now deemed THE sexiest job in the world. Hehe..well, probably not a full-pledged statistical analyst yet but hopefully will get there in the near future. I will start as a data researcher and that's definitely in the right track.
