Been reading about people ranting about other people being plastic on fb lately so it got me thinking. Upon self assessment I realized that I have no problem with people being 'plastic' to me. I'd rather them pretend to not dislike (or even hate) me than create conflict by showing their distaste towards me, especially in circumstances when we have to work together. I call it being civil. It is what educated people do. Nothing will ever happen to us if we don't get to 'be plastic' towards certain people from time to time (our bosses, for example). And if my so called friends were actually just 'being plastic' to me, I don't care because that is their burden not mine. I take everything anyone shows me to be real and act accordingly, that's how much faith I have in humanity.
