A musical 2012 it's gonna be!

Wow, can't believe it's already 2012...time really does fly! And this year I am back to making New Year's resolutions. That's right, the hiatus has ceased. But no, my list does not include posting more often than I do lately because I'm sure I can't make the blogging keep up with my busy life. Sorry! (hehe as if naay fans ba)

So, the resolutions. The end of 2011 has been really fun for me due to my newly acquired appreciation to music. This came about right after I bought my new keyboard, reinforced by our locale's winning the showchoir competition (oh yeah!) during the Christian Youth Month culmination on my birthday (best gift!). Since then I've been jamming with the showchoirers who have not moved on (nor recovered) from their win. Every singing and playing sessions we did gave me a new enthusiasm for music, that blissful feeling and all that jazz. And so I have resolved that this year will be filled with music. Music has always been part of me, I've had the organ-playing stuff going on for some time, but this time I vow to give it more attention and time than I have been giving it. I will take violin lessons soon, I only need to save money for it and I will make that happen this year. So far, I think I'm on the right track with this resolution. For some days now, I've been coming to the office later than usual because I couldn't take myself away from my keyboard, just playing and hoping that my little skills will improve.

Ok, so I realized I only made one resolution.

I wanted to post a video of me playing but decided against it because I'm not posting ready yet. Maybe next time when I get better. Here's one of our singing/playing sessions. They're all bloopers because we can never get to the end of the song without laughing our hearts out. Enjoy!
