* I've always wondered at what time they take out the trash in the office. Everytime I go home my bin is always filled, but by the time I come back the next day it's already empty. I don't really wanna know, I want to keep that a mystery coz it kinda feels like the "The Shoemaker and the Elves" story.
* Some elevators in the building these days do not have operators anymore, so everytime I press a button I secretly hope that the one that would open doesn't have an operator in it. I love riding the elevator alone and pressing the floor button myself.
* I'm finally learning MatLab. Yey! I've been putting it off because, for one thing, I didn't know where to begin. I thought it should be easy to learn because it's just another language (and very high-level) but to actually point where to start learning was not easy. I finally figured it out yesterday that I should start by trying to accomplish something. So I did a module for my proposed implementation for the project and it has gotten me hooked since. I'm even doing it the OO way. I hope one day I can be good enough to add it to my skills.
* Since the first day of work, I've always been amazed at how "open" our office room is and we can see a lot of the city from here that we are surely updated about which part is on fire when we hear sirens (there's even a joke around here about fires). No wonder they call it the "blue aquarium" room---it has blue walls and two glass sides. What's really nice about it is that I can have a very easy change of scenes when I'm too stuffed with the computer screen I've been looking at all day. I simply look to my right or turn around and behold the "beauty" of Cebu City. Refreshing!
* Today is last day of work for 2010 and I can't wait to go home! But I know how will this go in the next few days---I'd get so bored at home that I can't wait to get back to work.
