I went home last Thursday night in time for the VSU Anniversary weeklong celebration, but mainly to give myself some much needed break. Friday was a local holiday for Cebu, Saturday and Monday are still midterm exams so I only got someone to proctor my exams.
I was there to have fun, and so much fun did I get. Of course, my idea of fun may not be same as others but who cares? (hehe...jk) Luckily, the weather cooperated and gave us some sun and only clouds when it has been raining the days before I got there. I say the skies lurrrrv meh!
Only way to actually have fun is to spend the days with people I care about, because really in anything we do it's always who you do it with that matters however boring or interesting it may be. And
sooooooooo....I met up with friends at day and family at night. I saw some of my batchmates at the ferry going home the night before and we arranged to meet the next day. All we actually did was walk
around, eat, talk, and eat. Almost same activities every day for 5 days, yet these were some of the best times ever. It was also perfect time to catch up on stuffs especially with those were not able to make it at the reunion last May. This was the first anniversary that I got a chance to celebrate with the friends that I made from this place since I've gone away to Cebu. We made a trip down memory lane since we shared our childhood and adolescent years here (we can't help but remember).
I can only wish days like these would last forever...but...*sigh* we can only wish...soon after the bonding we have to get back to each of our own busy lives.
