Thanksgiving 2009

We had our church's year end Thanksgiving this morning. This annual special event is to give thanks to God for his abundant blessings the whole year through. We sing praises and give offerings, not as payment (no amount can pay for God's goodness) but because it is our duty as His people. I have so much to thank God for this year---being alive and happy, keeping my family intact, a fulfilling career, the luxury of friends, my growth as a person and as a servant...these are just some. Sometimes I don't feel that I deserve to be so blessed because I have at times come short in performing my duties but He was always good to me. I played the organ in the first service. It's only my second time playing the church organ for a big event (there are only 3 big events in a year), but it was alright because He was with me.

We had breakfast at Jollibee after the first service. It was a perfect!
