Excited!

I'm all excited for tomorrow. I am going to attend my first ever swimming lessons. It's not that I don't know how to swim. I can swim in the sense that I can save myself from drowning with my survival instincts. But I wanna learn the real technique. And swimming is just perfect for summer with my not-so-hectic schedule and the fact that I love the water so much. Being in water 3 times a week and doing it with friends/colleagues is just so much FUN! Soooooo excited!

In more serious matters though...tomorrow before I go have fun in the water I have first to attend to a meeting for a research project, which is a collaboration of different academic institutions in Cebu, where I'm (supposed) "team leader" of the team from CIT. The meeting will be held in University of San Carlos-Main Campus. I accepted this mostly because I really need to start with research and I get to have 3 additional units for a 2 semesters. I'm excited in a way (not as excited as going to swim though). I'm just a little nervous about it coz I'm gonna be working with "big people" (big in rank, seniority, professionalism, etc. and older than I am, most likely) and what's more, I'm gonna lead (with Ma'am Larmie)...Yikes! That's just scary. But I know me...I get scared all the time, but somehow I always get through it all. I know this project will help me grow more mature professionally, so I'm taking the challenge. So now I need to get some rest...I wanna look smart when I get to that meeting. hehe...
