How to stay up and do boring work?

Watch Prison Break and Heroes! And how many Prison Break and Heroes episode does it take to finish checking all those final and pre-final exams? Well, I counted 18 Prison Break and 10 Heroes episodes!

That's right. I watched downloaded TV series to maintain my checking mood. I need to finish checking because deadline has already passed 3 days ago and I'd be making the CIT Faculty Development fund richer by the day if I don't finish. But despite all the pressure of needing to finish, I still find it so difficult to keep myself up for checking. FORTUNATELY, I discovered a way. It turns out I can stay up longer doing an extremely monotonous and boring work if I have some distractions, like watching TV or movies. Some of my favorite TV series are just perfect! For days, I have been basically dragging myself to really start to check but I easily get tired of it. Now, although I'm not yet done computing grades, I'm almost done with all papers. I think it's because I get busy with what I'm watching that I wouldn't notice I've gone on with the boring work. I also noticed that during thrilling and fast-paced scences I also speed up in my checking. Great, isn't it? I am hitting two birds with one stone. I have finished checking at the same time I have caught up with my favorite TV shows that I'm missing.

This confirms that I really am a multi-tasker. I can't focus on doing just one thing at a time frame. For example, if I have to study, I need to eat or watch a movie or text too in order to keep myself studying. Otherwise, I'd easy get sick of it and just stop.

So there, I was busy but loving it.
